Getting dead lizard out of floor shelter, aka upwards exit?!
~~~
update:
No in-game methods or items seemed to have worked, though trying to lure the BLL to eat the lizard corpse was fun, I guess.
Instead, I resorted to simply deleting the dead lizard manually from my .sav file in the 'UserData' folder. For example, I deleted this:
<rgC>CyanLizard<cA>ID.3068.11814<cA>169.0<cA>Dead<cB>MeatLeft<cC>0<cB><cB>Health<cC>-1.416666<rgC>
'Dead' being the obvious key word here. basically deleted everything between the '<rgC>' tags. But I also had to get a special checksum fix for 'tampering' with my save file, via raindb.net where you can get other mods too. Wish I didn't have to do all this, but I finally have decent room in this ground shelter again.
~~~

So I'm enjoying chilling at the disgusting garbage wastes, it's a floor shelter near the long dive to a one way exit under sewage water. But I killed a lizard and it's dead body is in there now, taking up limited space

Can't pull or drag it up into the pipe and get it out, no matter what I try. I even added rebar spear platforms to try and help, but the beast is too heavy or whatever. It doesn't disappear on its own either, unless I need to keep saving & hibernating more cycles?

I DID get it out one time, but then got killed soon after before i can hibernate and save again. And I have no clue still what I might've done different. My last idea is to try and draw one of the brother long legs all the way to the shelter, but i don't know if it's worth the hassle and wait...

I recently found a vertical shelter that was half flooded and couldn't be hibernated in, though i don't know if it's the same one. In any case, i don't believe an animal in the shelter affects your ability to hibernate. You could also just hibernate elsewhere and it will despawn.

It will stay in that shelter until it is removed, which is a probably impossible feat, since you likely won't have enough strength to drag corpses up pipes. Eating some shrooms could maybe help, though I don't know if they affect carrying strength

It just seems stupid to let those corpses stay though.
And I'm even playing hunter, already ate the lizard, too.

Why should something unhelpfully take up shelter space like that stay forever,
while the very helpful metal platforms you make always fade after a few cycles?!
Makes zero sense!

Makes canonical sense since everything outside the shelter is subject to rain and a flimsy spear wouldn't last long in the torrents, but the shelters are protected against rain and something inside them would stay until it is removed.

Though from a gameplay perspective, it makes no sense to keep bodies in shelters.
