Don't know where to go after five pebbles

I am currently in unfortunate development and I have already been to both the wall and underhang. I got in through the wall by using the downward spear thing. What do I do from now to beat the game?

I saw five pebbles and am going down through memory conflux into unfortunate development, is that the right way?

They both lead to the same place. You want to head back to the beginning of the game. The area you need to go is to the left there

Well after you had your talk with 5P you got an achievement that tells you where to go. The achievement's description:“Go west, past the Farm Arrays and then down deep into the earth...”. So the quickest way you can go is by turning around and going the way you came (The Wall). But if you don't want backtracking you can continue and the way you are going now (down from 5P) and you should be just fine.
Yeah and make sure you ate at least one neuron while at 5P. (If you did, the slugcat is slightly glowing)

Farm arrays is probably the worst area to go through in order to ascend IMO. There's also entrances from other areas, my preffered being Shoreline, since I always visit LTTM before I ascend.

I never even go through all of 5P nowadays; I find the ordeal rather frustrating after the spectacle and novelty of my initial exploration wore off. After I've been there I just go back the way I came, down the Wall.

I was unaware of the gate between shoreline and sub. Nice to know. I also agree that 5P region is not worth going through after the first time. I've died far to many times to a slightly misplaced jump. I generally just go down the wall.

the game usually intends player to enter from underhang, exit from teh wall and go to Chimney canopy
