vulture grub not working

whenever i throw a grub it will call out n stuff but it keeps failing and i saw that there was a limit to how many you can summon each cycle but i havent killed any this cycle and its still failing does anyone know how to fix this?

Does it shoot a red laser? If it's not doing anything when you throw it, it's likely dead.

Could be that lineage bug, too. When you stab creatures and they retreat, they might not come back, ever. There are mods that fix that, one is called deathfix and another is called many fixes mod. You can find them on rain DB.

yeah it shot a red laser and i know that it dosent always work but i havent summoned any vultures this cycle and it was like the start of the cycle
