Can someone explain me what that thing is and what it does?

Those red nuts are just hanging around the Sky Islands. I can pick them up, but I can't eat them. I can throw them, but not too far. They don't explode. I tried to throw a spear at it, it just bounced back leaving the nut undamaged. WHAT IS THAT? I looked at rainworld gamepedia, but theres no article about that thing and Rain World Wiki | Fandom seems to be abbandoned, so no info there neither.

It's a noodle fly egg. Ensure that the adult noodle fly didn't see you grabbing it or carrying it around because it will attack you. You can be the mommy noodle fly, though! Just take it to your shelter and sleep a cycle with the egg and see what happens :)

They are Noodleflie's eggs.

Thanks, it makes sence now. Now I see why a noodlefly attaked me when I picked up the egg.
