The Scholar Achievement

Hi everyone, just a short question for people who already finished the game.
For Scholar, you have to bring neurons to M. and then three colored pearls ?
Or you can skip the neurons part and just jump to the pearls delivery ? I read on the wiki you just have to take the pearls in your hand, not have to bring them to LttM.

You only need pearls. I think you actually only needed to touch them after visiting Moon and Pebbles to get the achievement actually. But if you want dialogue as well, it's a good idea to deliver.

You only need to bring neurons if you ve eaten at least one of Moon's neurons. In other words, she needs at least 5 to be able to translate pearls (and you need communication mark to be able to listen to her). Nevertheless, the yellow overseer will direct you towards neurons even if you didn't eat them when first visiting Moon, which is somewhat misleading.

you dont actually need to talk to moon, nor do you have to give her neurons, you just need to upgrade your karma via pebbles, and sleep with a coloured pearl in your mouth to gain that colour on your advancement for the achievement.this only applies to pearls in your mouth, any pearls in the shelter you sleep in will not count unless they are in your mouth, thus this achievement can be gotten in a minimum time of 3 cycles.

Yes, I just unlocked the achievement some minutes ago. Thanks for all answers.
That's a pity to put those good story elements behind that huge wall of gameplay. At least in Dark Souls you access it more easily, through item description.

Another question : for The Friend achievement, in which area you suggest to tame a lizard and hibernate easily ?

100% speedrunners do that in Subterranean under the train car. There is a green lizard's den right nearby the shelter.
