Transferring files between computers
Hey y'all. For Christmas I got a new computer, but my files from RW haven't transferred between my old one and this one. Could you help a gamer out and show me how to get my files onto this computer? Also, I have the Drought mod, so I think the transfer process might be a little more complicated. Do I need to re-download Partiality and re-apply the mod or will it transfer with the game?

Thanks :')

Download the game onto the new computer and install the mods you use first. Steam won’t move your mods or anything like that over. Steam cloud should bring down your save (assuming it was ever in the cloud) but you could just manually move it too. I’m not super familiar with how to encourage Steam cloud to pick up the pace, someone else would probably be a better authority

Rain World doesn't support steam cloud so you will need to move those saves manually.
You can move the files from old computer to the new one by going into your RainWorld directory by right clicking the RW steam icon, properties, local files, browse local files and i think (i havent done it in a long time, but i am fairly certain) you should copy the contents of "UserData" folder to the "UserData" folder in your RW folder in your new PC.

Unfortunately i don't know if it will work with the mods, I moved my saves this way but i didn't have any mods installed.
