Top of the wall?

So after a lot of salt and tries, i got to the top of the wall and met this rare tentacle thing, everything went black, got more karma lvls/signs idk and appeared in my shelter, went up again and i just can´t get further, that means should i come back all the way to the bottom or what...?

1. That tentacle thing was an echo. You can read more about these on the official Rain World wiki, though be warned: it contains a LOT of spoilers. :P

2. If you want to get onto the top of the wall and progress, then you need either one or two spears to get to the top right tunnel. :D

Oh, there were two spears and trying to place one to jump into the tunnel i stucked it in a wall lmao

You can stick a pole into the ground by aiming down and firing it while backflipping. Using that, you can climb up the first pole, stick the other pole into the wall, and continue into the pipe. ^w^

It sounds complicated, but it's only complicated if you've never backflipped before. xD

Little note with echoes: They actually have a long neck with a beak at the end, in between two legs, sitting cross-legged (that X shape at the bottom). They're sitting in midair, leaning down to look at you and the environment around it.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY WHERE JUST BLOBBY SPHERES WITH RIBBONS HANGING FROM THEM AND A WEIRD LONG NECK AND TINY HEAD WITH A TRIANGLE HAT.

It's true. Some of us on the official discord discovered this recently. Compare them to the statues in the depths with their legs crossed, except instead of almost human-shaped heads, they have long necks and a long snouted face. For further proof, some even dug into the files to reveal that is infact what they're meant to look like. It's amazing finding out the true appearence of something when you previously just thought it was just a blobby mess.

I want to check this out now, but I'm currently stuck with survivor [long story], and I already encountered all of the echoes as the monk [before getting the mark of communication for the pilgramage achievement]. My goal is to get all achievements possible [aside from 'stolen enlightment'] on my first run, and I'm only missing 'the scholar', 'ascencion', and 'stolen enlightment', all unlockables possible on my first run, and I'm only missing a handful, and to heal BSM [via giving her a lot of nuerons] on my first run. So, I won't be seeing echoes any time soon. ;w;
