There is also a file named Procedural which seems to contain parts of songs, but not the full finished product. This includes files which names contain words, like, bass, vox, kick, noise, arps etc.

Then there is the file named LoadedSoundEffectswhich seems to contain, well sound effects. Stuff like peeps and honks and thunder etc. Something worth mentioning is this is where the dream music files are stored and other not quite music files. Such notable files like, Wormhead dream melody and the rain and thunder sound files.

It was originally meant for the first encounter with daddy longlegs, which was going to be a bit scarier and more tense. People spread rumors that it would be a puzzle where you're locked in with one and you had to find a code sollution to get out, but I don't think this is true. I asked James (dev) himself and he just said it was supposed to be a scary song that would play around the first daddy longlegs encounter. They probably axed it because the way it sounded didn't fit too well with the encounter, so I guess what we have in 5P, the superstructure threat theme, is close enough.

Well the song doesn't sound that scary, but the daddy long legs do still look absolutely terrifying.

The first half is more weird than anything, but the second half gets really nerve wracking kinds of intense. IMO daddy longlegs don't look scary at all, just weird, like some weird toy you'd find at a science museum or something. You should see their original designs, where they looked more virus-like and even had two comb-like blades they would kill you with.

Are the original designs in the game files somewhere?

Has concepts for deer, scavs and leviathans as well. (yes, they considered leviathans having legs, possibly going to be more miros bird-like originally)

neat looks like the were going for the more mechanical look which is a theme most of the creatures in Rain world share. Although If it still had the blades it might actually be less menacing since they could no longer fit through confined spaces. Like how octopus are limited to crawling through holes larger than the size of their solid beaks. But whatever, I think Polybius is still a cool song worth listening to even if it's not in the game, though I'm not sure why it's named after a Greek historian. Beside maybe drawing parallels between the fall of the iterators and the fall of Carthaginian civilization IDK.

The iterators are not the civilization that lived on this planet, the ancients are. Though still, some iterator had their technology worsened over time, and of course the rare exception of "death". I still think a DLL with blades would be able to fit through a pipe considering how thin the blades were. They could just hold them together straight side by side as they go straight through.

I was referring to the chain of event which causes the downfall of iterators as their fall (The rot and the Triple Affirmative) not the ancients. Since it's only a mater of time until even they to are all gone. And match like Carthage they will not be rebuilt.

Well, 5P is the only one known with the rot, though the iterators speak of it like it's happened before. Whether other iterators have had it before or some other lifeforms is a mystery, as it has been confirmed Hunter has a rot related illness. But this isn't a lore thread, so yeah. Just giving quick clarification.
