Is there a way to kill a scav without damaging my reputation?

There's this little ♥♥♥♥ in the Sky Islands that got into my den as a cycle was ending and now I always wake up with it. It always tries to steal my vulture mask, which I need to ward off lizards and worked really hard to get, so I have 4 options:

1. Kill the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scav myself
2. Let it take my vulture mask
3. Rip my mask back from its grubby little hands
4. Get it killed

Is there any way for me to indirectly kill a scav? Maybe push it off a ledge or feed it to a predator? My scav rep is very high and I want to remain friends with my Industrial Complex tribe so it needs to not damage my reputation.

i dont know if his was supposed to happen but one time i was with a scav and it was being annoying and i killed it and dumped the body off of a cliff and none of the others knew. so i hope this helps

If you use gas apples to set off the explosives they hold they won't blame you, or if you shove them off a cliff using your own body, although unfortunately I don't think either option is of use to you here

If your reputation is very high you can take items from scavs and they will not go agressive unless you abuse it too much. So option 3 must be the best one.

Otherwise just kill him than give pearls to other scavengers to get your reputation back.

If you kill a scav who hasn't noticed you and nobody witnesses it, you only lose a verrryyyyy small amount of rep as if the scavs are only suspicious of your actions but not entirely certain.
