or 2) could be memory/hardware units than belonged to Moon but were thrown there when her tower collapsed (but due to how orderly this region appears to be, I would say this is unlikely)
or 3) maybe they're part of 5P's hardware.
So basically the Memory Crypts is a data storage grid that serves as a graveyard where the ancients stored notable memories from their lives that they wanted to be preserved after their deaths.
