Changing music?
Does anyone here (who know how games work) know how to change the original music to my own chosing? I found the file that contains all the songs (Rain World/Assets/Futile/ Resources/ Music/Songs) and I tried replacing the mp3 versions but it didn't work. Do I have to convert my music into the meta files or is there something else I have to do?

P.S: The reason why is because I found the folder that contained the graffiti art in the game, and I replaced it with my own art and it worked(you don't know how glad I was to see a pickle Rick in the background). I just want to see how far I could change some things and make it entertaining.

It has to be the same file name and same file type [edit] there's a tool out there for unpacking and repaching assets files -- I thought you were saying you were already inside of one of those

Unfortunately, despite the mp3 files being there in the resources folder, those mp3s aren't actually the ones the game uses. All of the in-game music is actually packed inside of the resources.assets file, which isn't editable.

So, as far as I can tell, there's no easy way to edit the music, or add new music. The only way I've been able to do it is to edit the assembly and code in my own custom music streamer separate from the game's built-in music loader, which is probably more effort than you bargained for...

Edit: Here, I added a quick tutorial for it to the Rain World Modding Wiki if you're feeling up to the challenge... http://rain-world-modding.wikia.com/wiki/Adding_Custom_Music
