[(spoilers)] Five pebbles pearls.
I'm very curious what moon has to say about the pearls in the room of pebble in Five pebbles (The orange, black and white ones.)

I heard you can only enter his room a limited amount of times though. So the first time I enter I'll have to swallow one pearl and hold 2 others before leaving.

The issue then is. How do I bring Moon 2 neurons without passing through pebble's room? I can't seem to make myself a way through to the left of the underhang without a grapple worm.

Anyone got an idea?

Go back through underhang the way you came up from the Leg, you can bring Moon as many neurons as you like with this route :)
I have taken a few of Pebble's Pearls to Moon myself. I think the dialogue does differ from regular silver pearls as Moon will often mention that the pearls have only just been written on.

Damn. Back through the memory crypt and citadel huh? Thanks for the advice.

As far as I know, there isn't another way to take neurons without going through Pebble's room. It's not so bad the second time through, especially with Memory Crypts going back is a lot easier since you won't have that jumping section at the end. The most frustrating part by far is Shorelines and avoiding the frogsquids from knocking the neurons out of your hands (keep below the surface and they are less likely to bother you).
However Moon should be able to read Pebble's pearls with even just 1 neuron (or even without any at all, I think - in addition to what she has already, I assume you haven't eaten any of them?) - I think it's only the coloured pearls that require the extra neurons.

Yea I have not eaten any yet. I wanna bring her 4 neurons and 1 of each pearl in pebble's room. Frogsquids are meanies. I've never gone through citadel backwards from memory crypts either and I am trying to do this run without eating neurons so I won't have a light for the like 2 passages that have spiders in them. And there's the tentacle tree things that mess me up often too. I'll make it through though.

If it's any help, the "tentacle tree" only react to sound and can only grab using their tip, they also get stunned for some time if you spear them.

Only sound? They seem to react to a lot of things. But I'll try to be extra sneaky next time I pass one. Usually if water is around you can outswim their grip.

Erm, well I need to say this because it will make your journey a LOT easier, but you can eat neurons at pebbles with no bad effects, and it will give you a permanent glow. (also just a tip for seaweed in the citadel, try to swim quietly close to them and dive underwater, generally they will miss you everytime because they cannot hear below the water so well).

Thank you for the advice. The no neuron eating is a personal challange ;3

Spearing the Tentacle Plants will do one of 2 things, they'll ever run away into their hole, or they'll be curl up in pain, both give an opportunity to get past, and as already stated, you just need to avoid the tips.

The squids will by in large leave you alone so long as you don't touch them, and your not jumping in and out of the water, also they don't steal the neurons. They hit you hard enough to make you drop what your holding, they have no interest in eating them, they'll be on the floor where you dropped them. Best approach, get to the island and throw food the other way then go swimming.

If have any problems I've a video guild for the Neuron Run here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7XmqtnticY

Sounds tough, but I applaud your choice! :D

Here's a thought. Does pebble say anything if you bring him a neuron from Moon?
OwlCowl Jun 21, 2017 @ 9:24pm
I wonder if anyone has ever tried that O_O

Taking a neuron from Moon feels cruel though q-q

Right so it's been a while. Something odd happened though. Neurons dissapeared from a hibernation hole. Is there a limit to how much stuff you can store in a hibernation hole or can you just now store Neurons in them?

You can't store neurons (or bats for that matter) in a hibernation point, you must stay with them at all times during the journey, even straying a few rooms away after putting them down may cause them to vanish I've heard.
