Pearl Locations? Help a fellow Slugcat.

I'm in the Garbage Wastes, and saved in a spot that's really close to a Scavenger "base" (one of those skull tree totem thingies with pearls hanging from them). There was a convenient pearl really close, and I gave it to them. Hooray for making new friends.

Where are other pearls, though? Where can I go, starting from this[i.imgur.com] area, to get more pearls to give to them?

There are a few in the lowest route through the wastes. Note that the game outright gives you a pearl, complete with a tutorial animation, to get past the toll station you need to pass. The other station is an easter egg.

Yeah, I got the one that the gave gives me, and the one next to the time-manipulating mushroom thingies. I just want more >_>

Ah, if you're returning to the area, its kinda tricky. I know of two in the lowest route. There is also one that spawns in the Scavenger city behind the upper toll booth (the location varies but its always hidden behind some scenery), but if you steal it you'll be murdered. I seem to recall there being a special coloured one somewhere too, but I now know not to hand them over.

Once you exhaust the three white ones, you're basically stuck with two options: go around the toll booths or start donating weapons until you max out your Chieftan rank and they no longer ask for tribute.

Ahh ok, right. I know I'm dumb, but how do I donate weapons without throwing them and instantly startling them?

EDIT: Figured out how to drop items.

EDIT 2: Hmm, found a pearl in a hidden Scavenger room, will attempt to give it to the Scavengers, I guess? :S

EDIT 3: Found 2 other normal pearls and a dark green pearl, but the sections they are in are crawling with those tentacle monster thingies. I got one, but it was a pain and now I'm super far away from the shelter I usually use. Oh well.

EDIT 4: Went back and got another one. Got the "The Chieftain" achievement! Does this mean I don't need to give pearls to them to go through the tolls?

Yeah if you've got chieftain you should be fine getting through tolls now.
