From Farm Arrays to Moon?
I tried to avoid spoilers to some extent, imediately after finding the robot waifu I tried to figure out who she is, so I went to a bit of spoilers, only did read about as far as how you can go back to Moon eventually, as I kept on playing, Slugrodent "got smart" and I kept on playing while expecting that opportunity to make the turn back, but turns out I didn't find it and I'm afraid I ended up passing by it.

Currently I am at Farm Arrays, so I went after spoilers again... apparently the way back was at Five Pebbles... does this mean I have to walk it all back from Farm Arrays or is there another Gate? Wikia is imcomplete, doesn't have a lot of regions past Five Pebbles...

It sounds like you've gotten pretty far. You're pretty close to finishing the game, I'd say just go for it. Once you finish you can start from your last save and continue exploring and doing 'side-quests' like the thing with Moon. You can pretty much always make your way from one part of the map to another, it just takes time and effort (unless you want to use up a Passage).

To get from Farm Arrays to Moon you'd want to head in a generally eastern direction. Farm Arrays -> Outskirts -> Industrial -> Garbage Wastes -> Shoreline -> Moon.

Haave you been to the Shaded Citadel? Through there, Memory Crypts, and up The Leg is where paperclip sends you after you meet Moon.

The game path is shaped like a single anticlockwise spiral starting in the middle, with Moon being on the far right and the ending at the lower centre. Right now it sounds like you're coming down towards the far left. Almost every place you're guided to in game is technicaly optional, and Pebble's directions most certainly take you on a very long detour in exchange for being pretty foolproof in their explanation.

If you head right from Farm Arrays you'll reach the start point and you know the way from there. If you head right and up from the last save point in the game ("Filtration System", the actual point of no return is very, very obvious) you'll actually be right back at the junction immediately before Moon. Once you reach the post-game and start exploring all those parts you "skipped", you'll realise that you've actually seen almost everything. All those missed paths just loop back to various places you've been. A whole bunch of them even converge on this one upper section of the Industrial Estate you probably walked past.
