Stucked at Five Pebbles [SPOILERS?]
First of all, I didn't eat the neourons from the Moon, and the Yellow Guide helped me until Five Pebbles, and then dissappeared. Is it normal? Or is it supposed to guide me through Five Pebbles as well? It seems to me that I have explored almost all of the zone, but I can't make any progress.

Any help/tips? I've been in this zone for almost 5 hours and it is so frustrating.:sadelf:

From here, where direction should I head to? The right entrance leads to a room with a gravity core with a lot of Blue Long Leg Spiders and deadly walls.

[EDIT] I finally made it guys!! Thanks for the advice!!

The safest direction is up, Five Pebbles is a huge area, but upshot, it's never effected by rain. Head genreally upward until you find the memory areas, afterwards your looking for something bus (forget the proper name) if you find that then it's a stright shot to where you need to be.

Note, the sticky blue things that connect from wall to wall will not pull you in, use them to jump around. The smaller blue things near the walls, touch them and they will pull you in. Just take it slow, aim your jumps.

I will try what you say, but there it seemed to me that I reached the tip spot and only could go left or right.

And what about the yellow/blue guide? Should be helping me in this zone?
Congratz on taking the hard route. This spot is a royal pain in the ass. While up is safer in this spot, going right is a bit faster. The next 4-5 cells can be rather frustrating. The area is covered by the blue tentacle bastards and you will have to fight changing gravity as you make your way up a shaft using the tentacles and any pole you see. The walls are covered with the damn things so one wrong jump and boom...dead.

My advice is to take it slow slow slow. Time and rain are not a factor here. Wait for gravity to change so you can launch yourself as clean as possible to avoid any contact with the walls. You will get to a section that is divided up into a bunch of smaller rooms that are broken up as a grid. Keep moving up. Once the rooms start to become void of the tentacle monsters you know you are on the right track. If you find yourself going left a lot then you are making your way to the opposite entrance to 5 pebbles. Up is key.

You are very close to pebbles. Don't get overly frustrated as this area can be smooth as silk or a damn nightmare.

It's strange how polarising this area seems to be. I found it thoroughly enjoyable throughout, and nowhere near as difficult as some of the more conventional challenges in the game.

Opposite entrance? -to the region, or do you mean another path through the region?

I should have worded that differently. Its a different path in the region and I am not sure how it starts or if it has a gate connection. Going far left for me yeilded a bunch electric shockers and hibernation chamber.

Ah right, yeah, there's still a bunch of the region I never got round to exploring, although I already uncovered a couple of different routes through to the main goal.

On my second time through the area, I found something like three different routes, each with distinct challenges. This isn't entirely clear, and I suspect that is why it is so polarizing.

This is true, I pretty much have that whole map explored, because I got to the memory conflux, went the wrong way, did a massive loop and ended up back near the start and released. Wait, I never saw I could go this way, this way would be much easier then back the other way. The area is huge but there only one exit tunnel.

man i'm going to give this game a rest for a few days ahahah but I hope I don't get stucked here because I was loving the experience and this is the only zone that almost made me to quit.

For me is the most frustating zone in the game so far, I have severe fps drops when gravity disconnects, and it is the only zone where you have less control of the character than normal. At first I thought "Wow this is so cool" but when you spend several hours in the same room dying in the exact spot dozens of time is horrible ahahah

There are three ways you can go through Five Pebbles.
Unfortunate Development is the hardest way to get through, but if you go all the way back here ( https://youtu.be/336RZ3bzEb0?t=11m25s ) where this guy is, and head to the far left, then down, and manage to bypass a few blue monsters - you will be presented with a different route and eventually a hibernation station.
From there you'll be presented with multiple routes. Some have dangerous electricity and there's one that has no danger at all. If you want to take the no danger route, just turn back as soon as you see electricity and try a different route.

All the routes eventually lead to Memory Conflux, and after that, it's smooth sailing 'till the next area (just don't go into the rooms with blue infestation monsters, since it means you're going backwards into Unfortunate Development.)

Yeah, there's the broadly the bug zapper route, the labyrinthine shortcut route, and the tentacle hell route. The best part about the shortcut route is you don't have to deal with any gravity generators.

actually, they are ANTI-gravity generators :P
