Blue being
So, apparently my little yellow helper decided to guide me to the end of the world, I went from the drainage system all the way to shoreline... Apparently, there was this blue thing that could help me or something?
Well, I got there, I found this thing... It was just sitting there in a tiled room and there were some small floating lights around it, well apparently it didn't want to help me (it didn't want me to touch the lights either).
So obviously the game remained as cryptic as usual and I didn't get what I was supposed to do so I just left. Then my yellow dude showed me some images, I'm not sure if I got the right message but I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to find more floating lights and bring them here...

But that seems impossible or extremely difficult, I need some help solving this.

Can anyone provide a small hint? I don't want anything big but I would like to know what I'm supposed to do because I just reached the end of a one-way tunnel and I don't want to turn back to later find out I was supposed to do something there.

If you didn't eat any of the white lights (neurons), all you need to do is hibernate, and then the yellow dude (paperclip) will guide you where you need to go next.

You can try and get some more white lights for moon (the blue being) but that is not required to complete the game, and it is quite difficult.

Oh thanks for giving me the names of the things, I wanted to know some actual names. Also thanks for the help! Quick question what do you get by bringing more neurons to moon?

You unlock the ability for her to provide you with the lore and back story of the game.

Minor/major spoiler depending on your perspective:
You can bring her colored pearls and she can 'read' them, which will give you the lore of the game

Also, if you instead decide to eat one of the neurons, you'll gain a useful permanent ability much earlier than you would otherwise, but your guide will no longer help you. If you're not planning on doing a neuron run in your first playthrough you might find it makes your life a bit easier at the cost of losing your guide.

Oh, interesting, I tried giving her a white pearl, I guess that explains the yellow one I found earlier. Also, I ate all of the neurons just to see what happened, the power to glow? Sounds rad but I dont really find it that useful (I killed myself to undo that)

There's one particular area you'll be reaching soon where you either need to glow, or trade with scavengers for a glowing ball and keep that in one hand the entire time. Beyond that it doesn't help much until later in the game when you'd have that ability anyways.

I killed the blue thing because it was about to start raining and I needed to eat and hibernate in a hurry. woops! how the hell do i figure out where to go without the helpful yellow thing? this game is vague enough about what I should do next already. do I just go to the citadel?

If you find these ghostly orange circles and you run into them, they will fly in the direction of the next door you should go through. They are kind of like the replacement for the yellow guy.

That's odd, I did that with the one near by and it didn't to anything, is there a special way to give them, because she wouldn't take it off me, or pick it up if I dropped it.

Arr, so given I've just done Pebble I can do it now.

I'm pretty sure you need to give her a neuron before she can read the pearls

Nope, teleported back with just the pearl, she read it, being able to hear her makes me even sadder for her

Well then, I guess I'm not sure what the point of bringing her neurons even is then

Heavy spoiler:
Maybe it helps fix her memory?
