What does "passage" do.

From what I've seen, 'Survivor' is but one of several 'passages' you can get, each lets you fast travel, each of which you can only use once but can save for later for when you really need it.

Important note: using passage lets you take whatever you have in your mouth with you, but nothing else (so you'll have to leave your vulture masks and spears behind, but you can bring pearls, sprigs of batnip, cherrybomb branches, or even rocks/bricks)

Oooh, do those little plants attract bats? Never knew that, need to give that a go! :D

Yeah, batnip refers to the rust colored fern like plants. Holding a sprig of it makes bat-hunting significantly easier.
