I get that, but how long would a single run be?

I think he said 20h if you know where everything is and 60-100 if you dont.

And its hard as balls, so that might add like 2-5 extra hours.

Well, that is very promising, if true I'd buy it, could anyone link the source? Or point me to the general direction (site)?

Hold on, I watched an interview a while back. Gotta go find it.

Sorry to hype you a little. But the game does have alot of replayibility.

The guy says 10hrs for him and 16-20 for first timers, still, helpful, thanks.

With such a dynamic looking AI and animation set, it'd be really cool if they did some sort of arena or survival mode too

EDIT: Just read through the KS campaign and it sounds like these "extra" game modes will be included in addition to the regular story line. Awesome! :)

Honestly, i VASTLY underestimated how long it takes. After talking with QA and testers our publisher is running with 30hrs+ when talking to reviewers, but based on how the early streamers are doing I'd say much much longer :O

Is the AI still processing in the non-present rooms, like it was reported a few years ago?
If yes, wouldn't you say the dynamics that causes would make each run mostly varied?

I'm asking this not even knowing if the game is structured by levels, or if it's a free-roam interconnected world.

That is correct! The creatures have as much agency as the player. They exist perpetually, need to hunt for food, find shelter, get into squabbles with each other over territory, etc., and as such they are only limited in where they can go on the map by their own physical limitations (and in some instances gates, etc). Also worth noting is that each creature is a unique individual with its own size/weight/look/personality (aggression, fear, etc), and they can learn from their experience from whatever previous encounters they've had with the player.

So long story short, you are 100% right; runs can be quite varied in length, depending on RNG and how a player approaches the game!

Do any of the creatures breed?
