Please don't be biast but doesn't it make more sense, it does to me, to have your guys ON the river/bridge hex - defending 'your' side of the river?!
I kinda knew the answer before posting and it's been bugging me, especially for aesthetics and immersion, could this be looked at possibly...
Defender on the river hex makes sense to me and attacking that hex should pay the price would seem 'more' realistic.
You don't want to defend a bridge by being ON the bridge. You want them to funnel down the bridge where you murder them with crossfire from the other side.
Visually, my argument makes sense,no?
And what about beach hex's?
Wheres the argument here?
Surely this wants to be revised, looked at, debated further...
In both cases, there is mainly 'green' land on the hex's. Very defendable and to me, off-putting to have to use he hex behind to set-up and defend from.
