Undo function?
Is there a way to undo a move? If not, there should be either that or a click-verify-click type of movement system.

There is an option for either one or two click movement, if that helps.
Imo, other than that would just be cheating.

I see the option for one- or two-button movement, but that only changes if you move the unit with the left or right button.

And it's a little hasty to say that the only use for an undo command is cheating. Lots of people mistakely click on a hex that was not intended. The solution implemented in Commander: The Great War probably works best here, which is on the first click on the destination to draw a line showing the route followed to the destination hex, then click again on the destination hex to actually move the unit. Make it an option if desired, but the game needs something like that.

Yer but surely, the immersion is 'not to mistakenly' move units wrong.
Move and pay in my book.
Not being harsh or anything but hey, War is Hell ;(

There is no undo button. It doesn't really fit with the gameplay - any move reveals information, even if it simply reveals where the enemy is not. Some units can travel in enemy territory or hide in jungle, so even moves which seem like they don't reveal anything provide the player with information.

I'm still playing Panzer corps it is very useful if you are unsure of the possible outcome of a fight.
I often move, check the odds of a fight, and if I'm not pleased I undo.
Sometimes I mis-click, so an undo comes in handy.

Imarion, in OOB:P, you can hover over a movement hex and it will display combat odds for all the targets you could attack from that hex, so you can check your odds before committing to a fight. (of course, the actual result may vary from the prognosis, but it's correct on average.

I realise that doesn't help with mis-clicks, but I thought it might help.

There is undo in panzer Corps.. no idea why not in this game.

The best is make it optional and let the players decide whether they want to use it ...

Undo would be useful for one thing -- infantry trucks/transports. If you don't watch it carefully, you can send your infantry right up against an enemy while helpless in your truck. The problem is actually one the developers could easily address I would hope -- specifically that if you can reach the enemy only by transport vehicle, then it should NOT show a marker indicating you can attack said enemy. This tempting attack marker has meant in the heat of sending various troops in a direction, that I have mistakenly put trucks with infantry right up against things like anti-tank guns. This is not always obvious when you can get there by 3 moves instead of two or something. Not good! :-)

Undo is needed, mainly for misclicks.

The rule should be, if you make a move that does not uncover new territory or any enemy units, then you should have the option to undo that move.

Too often I have moved my carrier, or a ship underneath my plane, when I meant to move my plane! This is frustrating. Or I left-clicked an adjacent hex and moved a unit one hex accidentally, when I meant to right-click to unselect that unit.

Undo works well in Panzer Corps, and it does not let you undo a move that uncovers new information or territory.

Undo would work as a cheat function in this game. You could use undo to probe for hidden enemy units, via deduction of where they are not, pinpoint hidden concealed units. Considering that you have units with concealment skill that are only discovered when standing right next to them, even in your own controlled territories.

This not such much a problem in Panzer Corps, because of it primitive spotting rules. You see everything. Not matter what, no matter where, no matter by whom, you just spot everything in your range.
A Maus tank in the open 1 hex away is treated the same as a commando squad in a mountain 3 hexes away. *facepalm*

If you suffer from many misclicks, is it not better to find a solution for the root of the problem than trying to fix the symptoms? Try lowering the mouse sensitivity, enable enhance pointer precision in the mouse properties. Or just stop using the mouse of a moment and spent time thinking about your next couple of moves. Instead to click one unit at a time and then trying to figure out what to do next.

I'm with Dragoon on this, either take care or pay the price.
We don't need all games watered down for those that 'rush' through everything.
Take your time, learn and adapt - It's a war game and should be played as such.

Every time i missclick i try to find undo button.

Undo works in Panzer Corps. If you don't reveal new enemy info, you can undo. If you reveal new enemy info, you can't.

Should have that here.

Sorry guys but how is that realistic?
Having your units scout - dont like it/undo - scout - dont like it/undo - scout - oh there they are!
Wheres the fun it that?

You learn almost as much from not finding the enemy as finding them which is why many games don't allow it at all. It is far more pronounced in Order of Battle due to the nature of naval battles. Its all about finding the enemy so any exploit like this has to be killed off. It really is an important part of the game design and not an over site. Honestly :)
