Tips and Tricks in Order of Battle
I'm crazy about this game. I love the scenarios that offer multiple options. One example is the Kasserine Pass scenario where you can try major pushes in different directions, such as one up Kasserine and another up the left, generally ignoring the enemy on the right.

Some cool strategies for all campiagns are:

1) If you have an exit square, start with lots of fighters and replace them with tactical bombers after you gain air superiority.

2) Use long range arty, like the German K18, to reduce anti-air units the same turn you bomb them to death. Good against enemy arty too.

3) To keep a key victory point city safe, mine it.

4) Look for grand encircling opportunities. The key to most scenarios is cutting off supply. Paratrrops can help in this.

5) Use light recon units to chase down retreated units and eliminate them. They get more punch in such attacks.

6) In long scenarios, you can also reduce enemy ground or air supply with strategic bombers. It is fantastic when every enemy unit on the board goes out of supply. (Sometimes it helps to wound instead of kill units, since they keep eating supply).

how to seige a city.. move a unit 1 hex away and in a truck. move another unit 1 hex away.
end turn. entrenched, on the defensive, in a victory town unit will come out and attack
the trucked unit. on your turn move the other unit in and take the city.

Of course it only works aginst the AI.
also. the ai will chase your "special" units to death, use this to lure AI units to death. It wiil
attack even if 1 point and out of supply. Special = scouts (land and air), any 1 of a kind
unit, and very week units.

AI units can be ordered to static defense, so that tactic may not work if the scenario designer put a static unit on all primary objectives (like I do :-)
