Thanks
Is there a pic of the 2D counters I can see somewhere?
Been playing wargames since 1961 most of that time with paper/cardboard maps and 2d card board counters. Order of Battle looks interesting but for reasons I fail to understand the 3D icons are annoying and beyond my curmudgeonly old man ability to tolerate.
Unfortunately they don't work anymore.
Tried the free (essentially demo version) and though OOB is interesting, relatively fast paced with a wide range of scenarios available I'm gonna have to take a pass on this one. 3D counters just don't feel right for this type of game.
I am the one who created this Mod.
I'm sorry to tell you ... But you talk about your personal experience (which seems catastrophic) without even asking for help on the topic dedicated to the game forum. You obviously have a problem that only affects you ...
For many (the overwhelming majority) of those who have downloaded and use the Boardgame's counter mod, everything works perfectly.
As for the orientation of the counters, the subject is discussed on the topic mentioned above (why it is technically like that, how it gets closer to the experience of table wargames ...).
After all, if you are not satisfied with this mod, you do not have to download or use it (its advantage is that it is free), but do not disgust those who are still waiting for years now that the developers of the game implements a 2D counter mod (still not made for the new Sandstorm update).
Mine has the merit of existing and given the number of downloads recorded by my hosting site, it seems that there is a real demand for this type of mod.
Bongo
Problems installing/getting to work, just ask there.
Thanks!
