Order of Battle - update v9.0.0

A new version for Order of Battle (v9.0.0) is now available for PC.

Check out the full changelog:

- Added Allies Defiant Campaign

- Several Unit data changes
- Added several missing unit skin masks
- Fixed issue with "Custom Starting Forces" box not being present on Scenario Select
- Fix for Queen Elizabeth shooting visuals
- Next/Previous unit will select units in the same order as they are shown in the Force panel
- Game will now create a separate auto save at the end of the deployment phase
- Fix for orders being given when closing the strategy map
- Fix for issue where Turn income changes were not shown
- Turn Start Event Popups will wait for the Turn Overview to be closed

Well, unfortunately for me things have not improved since my last post :

This update has messed up my game... On the main screen the font does not properly display the selection titles. Also all menu tabs, click buttons and dialogs boxes now show software code script instead of the actual text. Take a look at some of the screenshots here:

Previous versioon used to load saved games in under 1 min. Now I have been waiting for 5min and still progress bar shows about %25 done, see screenshot here (also note the loading tips are also shown in software code):

The new version 9.0.0 has the exact same problems as previous updates: On the main screen the font does not properly display the selection titles. ( ver9.0.0 screenshot here : https://flic.kr/p/2kCL131 )

Also all menu tabs, click buttons and dialogs boxes now show software code script instead of the actual text. You may look at my previous post for sample screenshots of dialog boxes and menus, they are still the same in ver9.0.0

The only stable version I can run is the v8.3.0legacybuild-64bit (see screenshot here: https://flic.kr/p/2kCLAHV ) which does not support the new Allies Defiant DLC, that I purchased but now am asking for a refund...

And yes, I have removed the old game and did a clean install of ver9.0.0 with no results....

dieses update ist ein scande ihr habt damit die ganze Balance des spiels kaput gemacht. z.b Burma Road die Mission Operation Cannibal da kosten die spezial einheiten normal 1 Kern platz jetzt kosten sie zwei kern plätze. Zu dem kommen in runde 3-4 bei der ersten versogung flagge links davon Japanische Panzer und inf einheiten die normal da gar nicht kommen denn normal kommen die erst alle von oben ab runde 8. und ich könnte noch weiter solche schlimmen Beispiele benennen. Das Versorgungssystem ist total durcheinander gebracht worden. ihr habt da richtig misst gebaut mit dem Update

Exact sme thing with Melih; already nearly a year had passed but no solution I can't play red steel and red storm dlc's. Same screen images for me too...

Have you tried:
1. Running at a lower resolution
2. Purging all the game files and reinstalling?

OK... Good news. I've fixed the problems finally.

I uninstalled the game from the Steam menu. Then I copied the ...\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - WW2 folder to another one with different name. After which I installed the game through Steam again. This will re-create the Order of Battle - WW2 folder but with new settings. Finally I copied my Campaigns and Scenarios folders from old saves to the newly created Order of Battle - WW2 folder.

I am now running ver 9.0.3 without problems.
