You'll have to keep a few units on the southwestern front, the allied AI has been pretty unreliable for me in this scenario.
Don't even think about attacking with the few units under your direct control on the outskirts of Warsaw; I'd recommend falling back in order to secure the three towns between the river and the Polish capital.
Keep your main force on the northern front (their "natural" direction of attack). Try to avoid getting bogged down; take some artillery and tac bombers on that front. Follow the advice from the briefing, try to encircle the capital (much, much easier than a frontal assault).
One the Polish counter attack is defeated (depending on how strong your support for the allied AI is on that front, it can happen within a couple of turns) use your units there to carefully mop up the Polish units. Do NOT count on any reliable behavior from the allied AI, it has a tendency towards suicidal moves.
The key is to get your main force behind the enemy lines, on the eastern side of the capital.
The train is susceptible to artillery and tac bombers, but it you want to get the German ace (I strongly recommend you go for it) you'll have to take just one tac bomber, as you'll be needing the 2 fighters for the secondary goal.
It can be a tricky scenario, primarily because you need to babysit the allied AI (which can clog up your approach from the west, later on, and only helps moderately on the attack -primarily in the forested area south of the very strong Polish fort).
The rest of my deployable units start in the north and immediately work their way down the east side of the map, cutting off the 3 Supply Points on that side.
The 3 units that start just SW of Warsaw slide along the bottom of the map and slime into the bottom-most Supply Point on the East side. They move up and link with the Northern group.
Let the AI dork around with the area west of Warsaw.
Capturing those 3 points on the east fulfills the encircle requirement for victory. Then you focus on killing stuff.
