Tiger Tanks are worthless.
I found that allthough the Tigers have better stats than Pz. IV f2, they are actually worse. For some reason the Pz. IV (same vet. levels as Tiger) have better results with hits and kills than any Tiger. So a pz. IV with 3 Vet knocks out 4 out of 10 enemy Inf. and a Tiger only 2. With tanks its even worse. Tiger against t34 is pathetic only one or two out of 10.
Tigers also have exttreme battle fatiguwe. They seem to be scrippted like the artillery units. After few shots they can't doe anything anymore and need to rest.
With the Pz. IV I can go on and on.
Spent so much resources upgrading to this crap, now I need to change them back to Pz. IV.

Absolutely unhistoric. A Tiger could take on 10 t34 and win.

Choice of Arsenal in Pz. Krieg is also pathetic. In 1943 there are no Marders, ther is no "Hummel" or "Wasp" Arty. There is nof "Elephant" (Ferdinand) AT.

Sounds like you are using the Tiger H version, which has the Unreliable -trait. This means that every time you move the unit, there is a random chance it loses extra efficiency. Any unit with low efficiency is very ineffective and with eff 0 useless. This is the reason why it looks like the Pz IV is better. An easy solution: only buy Tigers when Tiger E becomes available because it no longer has the Unreliable -trait. Not so easy: try to minimize the movement of Tiger H and let it rest a turn or two if it loses too much efficiency.

You can buy Ferdinand, Hummel and Wespe in the Kursk scenario (and of course in Endsieg). To buy Marders you'll need the appropriate specialisation (Baukommando Becker), but for one reason or another it is not present in Panzerkrieg. Oh, joy. :steamfacepalm:

The real problem is that you're bad and don't know how efficiency works. If you use the Tiger with minimal movement it is incredibly strong. If you wiggle it around like a teenager you'll get nothing from it.

Yes, thats what tanks are for - MINIMAL MOVEMENT. For quick breakthroughs and advance you use the slow heavy inf. or eng., right? What a pitty that Rommel and Guderian didn't have you around, who knows, they might have won the war!

What quick breakthroughs and advances did the Tiger accomplish?

It's a single player game so have whatever you want, just edit the unit files it only takes a minute,
remove the unreliable trait from the early tiger you're using and change the start dates for the other units you want or add the tech needed to unlock them
If it makes the game more enjoyable for you that's all that matters

The Tiger is a HEAVY tank. The purpose of units of Tigers was to facilitate the initial breakthrough of heavily fortified positions, or serve as a defensive hardpoint in vital areas. NOT to engage in sweeping maneuver warfare. There's a reason they were put into specialized heavy tank battalions and not into the main Panzer divisions and brigades.

(Also, LOL@"A Tiger could take on 10 t34 and win." Reality didn't exactly pan out like that particular bit of nazi propaganda.)
