Blitzkrieg- Moscow

Did anyone reached Moscow on Moscow mission ? I won, because of defending VPs, but as far i could get was Khimki.
I found that after you reach 2 VP the offensive starts. If I won't do it, offensive won't appear ?

I think (untested) that if you sack moscow, without capturing the secondary objectives, the russian counteroffensive starts never the less.

The counteroffensives can be beaten, and then the Soviets have very little units left. Unfortunately by the time that is done, you either have no more time left to capture Moscow, or no more requisition points. But it doesn't matter, since its no longer an objective. If you were to delay the counterattacks it stays as an objective longer? And you might be able to achieve the capture of Moscow as an objective. It seems possible. =P I will try not to take the 2 objectives, maybe it helps. XD

Just for fun I took Moscow in turn 27 with a spearhead to find out if something happens, but the counterattack was already triggered in turn 12 ... anyway nothing happens apart that my core force was near destroyed :-)

In my normal playthrough, I wasn't able to secure more than 2 VP, but my core force stayed healthy , even I had to use some normal recruts and lost one engineer in the south !

So I reached Moscow in 15 turns on LVL 2, but victory screen is same, a bit disappointing, especially after USA and Japanese last scenarios.

I'm not complaining about that. I was just expecting. Victory is ours, Soviet Union has fallen or something like that :)

Haha, such a shame nothing happened for taking Moscow early. Smart thing with lowering the difficulty a bit, that should help a lot indeed. It would've been great if OOB went back to its ahistorical glory days. ;) Ah well, heres hoping that the dlc will bring it.
