continue from morning sun?

The game says I can go from morning sun to rising sun, but I see no way to do so. I started with the "grand japanese campaign", but cannot continue to rising sun.

For some reason this doesn't work you just have to start rising sun and if you want import your troops but tbh there is no reason too, as you get more xp if start from scratch and commanders do not transfer either :(

If you play the Grand Campaign in order (Morning Sun then Rising Sun)
you get access to your core units through the 'resurrect' tab of the force screen when you start Rising Sun.

But like Mikeydredd says, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble except for templating their types for your army.
