Well it is based on a 30+ year old IP... I suspect some similarities are inevitable.

Still doesn't explain why the game looks like it was made in 1997.

The units in the game are all based on the units on the WH40k setting, so by definition they will be the same as another game following the same setting. They are both turn based strategy games though use completely different combat models so play very differently. And obviously this one has a massive graphical update :)

Dude I own FL as well. Is Dawn of war 2 a copy of Dawn of War 1? Is Rites of War a Copy of Final Liberation? They're two games in the same GENRE.

yes you are right about it they are in same genre at those years there were some simple rts games like dune and Seven Kingdoms so people go for tbs game like final liberation. but right after dawn of war series isnt it funny to "remake" an old school tbs game?
anyway are you good for calling it "remake" ?

The animation is a lot sharper for once.. and I'm sure you hear something else than just "Comissar!" and an engine noise when you select units. Mind you, FL was absolutely amazing and the live action cutscenes are still among the best in gaming history.. just take your chill pill and enjoy another game of the same genre, alright?

ok mate you are right we are good :)

Mind you, I still have to see some gameplay videos about it, but you have to admit people will compare it to Final Liberation rather fast. After all, it does kind of look the same.
