You also can't call them paid shills working on behalf of the company or mods ban you. However there's so many on every game forum I've been on on Steam that I can't imagine this is normal. Certainly smells like a conspiracy to me
The sad part is this isn't even going back to its roots. It's disappointing long-term fans and the lewdcifers brought in by Ryza at the same time lol
FYI.
There will be a Season Pass, and they presented the swinsuit skins of it..
Oh don't you know? Even those are censored because, uh....they don't show enough cleavage? I dunno.
Pretending like you can't censor a swimsuit seems pretty childish and ridiculous. The problem with America is nobody goes outside anymore to see what real women are wearing, especially at beaches. It's so sad to witness the connection between crying loudly and having a complete disconnect from reality in regards to fiction
They don't look like censored...
What we won't see is maid, bunny and things like that as outfits.
I feel the need to defend Ryza. Ryza isn't THAT lewd is it? Is it even up to the level of other games like for example Nights of Azure or the Tales of games? And this kind of thing was never a problem in games in previous eras.
Atelier Sophie had people complaining that it had boob physics and panties designed onto the costumes. Modern Atelier game DLCs with those costumes censored the parts below the skirt with black voids and people noticed. The Atelier series didn't shy away from this back then, and people didn't really have a problem with it.
Like the meme of Atelier Totori from the Arland series being rated 18+ with "high impact sexual violence" a while back. That was so ridiculous it became a meme.
Elements like this was in other previous games too. To quote this article: https://moegamer.net/2020/09/25/atelier-totori-the-adventurer-of-arland-high-impact-sexual-violence/
In a way it shows how far society has changed to become so prudish. Even things that didn't cause any issues years ago on PS3 and PSP is now not acceptable.
I personally prefer characters to be around their early 20's because watching 15 year olds going out on an adventure and having a profession seems a bit off putting but i recognize that in the real world, adults are infantilized to such a degree that they are unable to get off on their own in a lot of cases by the time they are 18. I realize the expectations of a 16 year old today vs. 600 years ago are widly different.
But he isn't wrong tho, usually jrpg main character in a lot of cases hover around 15-17 year olds but it's not something that I care because I actually prefer them to be more adults.
If that's censorship then good, that's the sort of censorship we need, censor all the child character's attires to not be too revealing or straight up don't put them in the game and make the cast all adults.
Then you can put in all the fanservice you want without any of it being weird/cringe/awkward
Therefore the casts have to grow with the players, adults want characters they can relate to, if you don't like games with adult casts, go and play Wild Arms 4 instead.
That's how i used to live my life until I learned to code and being a white guy trying to break into the programming industry filled with DEI and anti-white hiring practices turned me into a rabid and unhinged hater of all things woke. I will literally not even pirate a game with woke in it, yet alone buy it and will become an eternal hater. Although it's worth noting I don't really believe 100% this game is woke. I try to judge things fairly before I give it the woke label
