Repair Kit - Liquid?
How does one unlock the quick synthesis recipe for the Repair Kit - Liquid? I have all the others (Machinery, Lumber and "Other"), but not the Liquid Repair Kit. I tried searching the web but there are simply no mentions of this.

I have 100% investigation rate and almost all Pioneering Effort unlocked (only missing a few % in the last region). Post-campaign I tried doing side quests and random quests but none of them offered this recipe as a reward. How is it possible to unlock?

I want to say from treasure troves, but I believe I got it from saving someone who was chased by a monster in the first zone.

But my memory could be off logically I'd say treasure trove but yeah

early game you get them as rewards, yeah, it's rather late game where you actually get the recipe.

I got the recipe when I was in region 3, although not sure exactly when (it wasn't there when I started region 3 but it was there about half-way into it.
No clue on what unlocked it for me though so it is probably not that helpful.

As added infos though, I did 100% region 1 and 2 (except the bit of region 2 you can't access until region 3 of course) before heading to region 3, so that should limit the scope a bit.

It would definitely be nice if the game had more infos on when you unlock the various recipes for simple crafting, not just the liquir repair kit.
Finding vines and ladders in region 1 and still not being able to do anything about them by the time you leave it would be a good example of that as well (even if they are much harder to "miss" as you progress further).

Those vines you get splinter bullet in region 2 to break them. Treasures is meh.

I progressed quite systematically in the game, reaching 100% in all regions before going to the next one. I also have 100% pioneering effort in the first three regions. I have 2 treasure troves unopened in region 3, it would be maddening if one of them actually contained the recipe for this repait kit. But all the others unlocked by different means so I wouldn't think it's a treasure trove.

It's a pity the game is not clear about these things and we have to wait for detailed guides to have an idea about where to get what.

I call bs, the zones usually have one stea that carries over to next zone, then back track.

Of course, both Ligneus and Sivash have a part which can be accessed only from the next regions, respectively, and I meant my systematic progression that way. It doesn't make a difference, though, I have everything at 100% post-game (with the exception of 5 treasure troves and the last region pioneering effort) and still no Repait Kit - Liquid recipe.
repair kit is a quest reward I think its the relic hunter quest line? early on its not available but you can acquire them as side rewards for rescuing research teams being chased by monsters do nit forget to speak with them

important quests are marked with ! on the map take this before you do more pioneering work disregard the ? based quest markers unless you are seriously hankering for materials

I finally found the solution:

There is a side quest in the Sivash (2nd) region called Wilma's Bridge. It is marked with a white exclamation point shield directly at the Sivash Research Base, so not the usual yellow exclamation point. (When it becomes available, I don't know, I just noticed it post-campaign.) Complete this quest and it will automatically lead to another side quest called The Mystery of the Alber. Complete this quest and it will reward you with the Repait Kit - Liquid quick synthesis recipe, finally.

wilma's bridge should be available at one point by trying to complete the Auruma pioneer progress report it should coincide with you doing the hot springs quest chain or the harvest ceremony

Thanks, to me, it showed at late game.
For anyone else that got stuck on Wilma's Bridge while reading this thread, you have to make a whole 2nd stack of Zipline Gloves, or it won't let you hand in the quest. I thought it was bugged, tbh.
