Native HDR Mod -- Atelier Yumia

I've been working on an HDR mod since the beta, and its in a somewhat solid state right now

**NOTE: THIS MOD ONLY WORKS ON NVIDIA GPUS**

This isnt "AutoHDR" like a lot of other mods out there, but actually modified game code to have the game run in HDR


1) Download and install reshade 6.4.1 + addon (custom) -- we need a pre-build version in order for dx12 perf to not get griefed

-- We don't need any shaders/effects, we just use reshade to inject our mod


2) Download the mod: https://marat569.github.io/renodx/renodx-yumia1.addon64
-- These are github autobuilds; so they are constnatly updated

3) place renodx-yumia1.addon64 in the same folder as your Atelier_Yumia.exe
-- \steamapps\common\Atelier Yumia\

Installation notes:

- If you want to use XeSS, update the .dll to the latest version; or else the game will crash!

Press "home" and "renodx" to control the mod!

great work on steamdeck-like linux (bazzite). There is a cherished HDR badge in the Steam overlay. Really native HDR

The main page works, just not the download/snapshot. Does it require a specific browser to download? Looks like none of the snapshots for any game are downloading for me.

Try again? Maybe github was compiling, so the link was down for a few minutes

Still blocked, but I VPN'ed to... basically a mile away and it suddenly let me. Weird.

The title screen (zone 3) and menu both show me a red screen. No title or anything.

weird -- are you on an AMD GPU? the mod is incompatable with amd gpus

if you join the hdr den discord, and go to the #renodx channel -> Atelier Reno thread; maybe you can send me your save file and I can see whats up

We sorted your issue out

When you play with the mod, your game's resolution has to equal your monitor's resolution

If you're not on a 16:9 display; you have to use Lyall's Yumia Fix to enable arbitrary aspect ratios -- https://github.com/Lyall/AtelierYumiaFix

Yeah, thanks for that. I'll try to see if I can get a clear video of the flickering.

Yeah, thanks for that. I'll try to see if I can get a clear video of the flickering.

Does the new update affect the patch?

Updates don't normally grief mods; unless they change something up with color grading/tonemapping

if anything the new patch seems to run better with the mod

it's not. I have AMD 7900XTX and this mod works fine. But I don't play on Windows either.
