FF15, its battle system was alien to me and I didn't care for it at the start, and honestly it took time for it to grow on me and get used to it. I never really came to love it, but I did enjoy it in the end.
One of the youtubers I watch about Atelier reviews pointed out that you can totally break the game with alchemy - as you can often do in these titles. So even if you're struggling with combat, just craft some OP gear and carry on.
