No but it's 90$ before taxes for us Canadian, we have definitely seen much better games for that price.
This is getting refunded for me. Will wait for patches and then try again in 6 months to a year. I can't get that game to run smoothly at 1440p. Constantly stuttering
Genshin has made billions for its developer, meaning more resources for them to waste, so this isn't a valid argument
P2. Big doubt - the game is still very playable, but you need to tweak the settings. If you're playing this on anything above 1080p - you're lost in the sauce.
P3. Fair.
A1. For a switch title? Nah they're fine. Don't expect AAA graphics from a switch title.
A2. False comparison. One had an operating budget of 500M$ USD. The other barely has 5M$ to work with.
C1. Fair. None of the Atelier games were ever considered "Combat-focus" games. Wasn't this to be expected?
It's a $70 game...
Anyway, the biggest grip I have with Yumia and Firis is shade and color tone.
Yumia and Firis's true color of their skin are white, but are rendered as almost tanned color.
Hope the modder works on reshader as they did with Firis.
Nintendo has a habit of over-pricing their published games for ludicrous amounts.
Is this serious?
The bare minimum for anime style games nowadays that cost around 70, are graphics at the level of Granblue Relink.
Also Nintendo lives from nostalgia and from milking its fans, shouldn't be used as example for anything.
switch holding this game because they want it to want on switch.
You forget that this is an atelier game, you have 4 slots for items, use them.
if anything i wish we could change the battle speed a bit.
I am deeply disappointed.
- Too much yapping when exploring, even more than other ateliers.
- Graphics are so low effort considering its a 70$ game.
- Animations are stiff.
- The Map/World brings nothing eye catching, looks like a genshin map.
- Combat seems polluted.
If it was a 50$ or 60$ game, I would consider buying, guess I gonna wait for a discount.
