Also, takes longer when launching!!
I'm on a 7900X3D and a 5080. Playing at 1440p but i'm waiting for a ultrawide mod (my monitor res is 3440x1440p).
I do cap at 75fps cause that's my monitor's refresh rate. Every setting is on max except DOF and bloom cause i don't like them. Xess is at native resolution, so basically acting as AA. It's been a constant flat line for me.
What i did notice is that usually I have to open game bar and check the option to remind that this is a game (so that in the next boot it only utilizes the 3D cores, that's the catch of dual CC CPU's). It does that but it's not very effective, game is really trying to utilize all 12 cores. So i get some really annoying stutters when it switches and uses the other remaining 6 cores.
I had to uncheck on game bar that option and now the game really uses all cores and it's been really smooth this way. I think that it uses like 40 to 55% of all my CPU.
BTW. I really hope that there's a way to mod DLSS into the game since it can use Xess. Using DLAA and transformer model would make it look amazing.

We shouldn't have to wait for CPU fixes like that, mods, or dlaa tweaks these days. And no HDR :/
Any other dev maybe say, ok, but they did this bs with Ryza 3 and it took them 6 months to put out simple fixes for those things.
Playing 1440p, demo runs pretty smoothly, getting above 110 FPS (in closed locations 120 cap works, open world drops to ~110) - so I'm gonna lock to 90 for smooth experience, but...
MY GODS the game looks ugly XD something akin to games from X360 era with a lot of sugarcoat on it... Seems like they're working on a century old engine and trying to add stuff that it is not supposed to do there...
Exactly my thought.
The game runs smoothly, which is expected for a game that looks like from PS4 era.
I think that's on AMD's side. I wasn't having stutters until i checked that option to only use the 3D cache cores. Otherwise i wouldn't have had any stutter at all i think. And i fixed it in like 20 sec, it wasn't an issue at all.
Dual CC CPU's are somewhat tricky to make them work properly. I think on launch AMD was having a lot of problems cause games couldn't properly utilize it's resources, It took them a lot of time to fix it.
The other things (ultrawide, DLSS, etc) yeah, you're right, they should provide them.
I like to mod games, so for me it's not a problem. It's almost a way of entertainment, but for someone who's not willing to do these stuff yeah, it would be annoying.
Some people never learn.
Yep; look at the other atelier games; at least 7 patches after launch lol. This is why I didnt preorder the game like I did when Ryza 3 came out.
Latest drivers on gpu side with a R7 3700X and the game doesnt shutter. Its installed on an NVME drive..maybe thats why
It's the game engine and it's settings (once again). Like they learned nothing from Ryza 3 release. Bloom, lighting, ignoring ini file Resolutions, (Why the hell even have a game.ini file if you force the game to ignore what's in it?!?!?)
Butter screen was a good way to put it.
PS4 era might be too much credit, persona looked insanely better than this. Maybe ps3/vita.
What I keep reading is ps5 looks great, but maybe people have rose colored glasses, not willing to re-connect my ps5 just to test a demo lol
All I'm gonna say is that theres like 10 kicka** games coming out from the 20th-27th. Thankfully, because this isn't one of the ones I'll be getting down on without mods/patches/UW fixes & HDR implemented.
Xenoblade chron X and Inzoi, looks like all the eggs are in their baskets for me now.
I'm excited for this but absolutely nothing about this is $70, or even $60. Xenoblade Chronicles X releases the same day, will be waiting for this to be under $30.
