How's performance for everyone?
I'm on a 6700k and 1070 and dropping frames, I wonder if the day 1 patch will make a difference or should I just go console. Did Ryza 3 have any performance patches or did they just leave it as is?

I’m playing it on my steam deck and it is ok for now

The demo does not run for me at all

Runs surprisingly well on the Deck.
What's even more impressive is they also included the Japanese subs on PS5 this time.
i'm playing on bazzite linux with a radeon 6800 and a ryzen 7 5700x and it's not great at all. i get random drops from 100 to 40fps constently. i have tried the infamous atelier sync mod but it doesn't improve things. I have no clue why that is, other atelier games don't have such drastic drops and freezes.

It's running off a gen 4 nvme ssd.

Edit: the sync fix mod doesn't work because they switched from DX11 to DX12. so unless the day one patch solves the issues, we'll have to wait for a sync fix mod compatible with DX12

Okay. It works for me BUT.... I am on i9 and 3080 and the only way for me to play at max FPS is at 1080 (1920 x 1080) and with almost all settings on High except the last two (Dynamic Resolution?). Max FPS at 1080p and all low settings I got was 144 and when I changed all to high at 1080p, I got variable 120-144FPS.

The game is clearly designed for console and I have this feeling my PS5 Pro will do a better rendering. I will soon find out.

The game has the same issues as the Ryza games, for linux you need to set a base frequency or its going to under-utilize your GPU because its kinda funny that it doesnt do that with Fairy Tail 2

i noticed downgrading from 1440p to 1080p fixes the awful drops from 120 to 40 i get. this is yet again a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc port. i'm thinking about refunding my pre order

Getting constant stutters on a 14700K + 4080 SUPER rig, doesn't seem to be optimized at all. Not a good first impression for the port.

i tried the sync fix mod, and it doesn't seem to do anything anymore. i get constant drops from 100s to 40 at 1440p on a radeon 6800

They switched to DX12 for this title so I assume that's why.

well i can already tell without a community mod, this game is doomed to be cursed with massive and random performance drops. That is unless they care about fixing that but it's gust and history has shown us that they never truely fix their pc versions sooooo.

yeah, i think this version is doomed unless the day one patch actually improves things that is. But it's gust, so i doubt it. Makes me consider asking a refund for my pre order. maybe i should wait 6 months until i try.

Runs great on PS5 Pro but the environment textures look so last gen.

I had the Steam CE on preorder so this kinda sucks deciding if I wanna gamble or cancel it since you can't refund a steam code. Did Ryza 3 ever get any performance patches or did they just leave it.

Only motion blur as usual is off and that weird option for reflects, for some reason it creates a ugly aura in characters models when the light reflects on them, the rest is maxed out (high) and in native, not using XeSS so the results: 90 to 144fps on a RTX 4060 + i3 13100F on 1080p, no stuttering, all smooth. Only 2 issues.

1. HUGE fps drops when the weather and time changes, so far only in morning and afternoon cause that as soon as the fog appears like from 101-120 to 65 for 10 seconds then goes up again then after like 5 minutes it happens again lol.

2. No Playstation Dualsense prompts, at least didn't manage to trigger or find a way for the buttons to show for my controller, only xbox but thats probably a Demo thing (i hope lol).

to my knowledge ryza 3 was never fully patched on PC, it still needs a community mod to avoid hardware under-utilisation. I think i may just refund my Pre order. gust and tecmo are clearly not listening to feedbacks. if they did they would not have released 5 atelier games with the exact same technical issues. i'm kind of tired of this and i think i will just give up on the series (on pc). they just don't care.

Why should i reward a developer that ignores reported technical issues?
