Rather they just ditch Yumia entirely and just go full on in with being a underground `illegal` alchemist due to the kingdom forbidding alchemy and if they wanna go with the whole premise of DITCHING THE PAST to just learn new stuff instead, even throwing out mementos of your past (you know if you beat the first game especially).
At least they can go much further on ditching the `focus` with alchemy by making it more combat/exploration focused and just have the alchemy happen in the background instead or something if they do not even bother wanna make a good system like Mana khemia 1+2s or how Ryza 2`s item ring loop system felt far more damn solid then how this stupid memory vial crap went with Yumia.
And if your familiar with how the `final portion` of the story on Yumia works, it really fell tp crap, period.
It's probably because I also liked Atelier Firis and the (semi) free roam that game had. It was not like those very limited spots like the previous Atelier games (think, for instance, about Atelier Sophie 1, where you go from place to place by dotted lines). While I liked the more open world of Atelier Ryza 3, it's Atelier Yumia that really gave that free roam feeling.
So yeah - I would like to see a Yumia 2 (with some improvements on the weak aspects).
