Quick Question

Is it necissary for you to read/play the two predicesors or would you just be completly lost if you jump right into this one?

The game will predetermine some of "your" actions but I think I remember you having the ability to recap in the prologue and make some of the more critical decisions from the first two games. I would definitely recommend trying the others out first though, for the sake of that emotional blockbuster finish.
