Hey guys! You can use your middle mouse button, the keyboard keys or your gamepad to rotate the board. We'll be adding in a feature to automatically rotate it to your orientation by default. That was an oversight on our part, and something that already exists in one of our other games (Khet). Sorry about that! We'll have it in ASAP!

That is good to hear, and yeah for 3D chess set yes you can rotate with a middle mouse button, but switch back to 2D and it flips right back to nightmare :) I always play chess 2D, mobile or PC.

Player always bottom should be a standard setting.

press "f"on your keyboard (there is a button for gamepads as well, I think it's B
