PS3 controller, can't use D-Pad

I'm using a PS3 Sixaxis controller with MotioninJoy (so it shows up as an XBox360 controller in Windows). For some reason, I can use the d-pad buttons in menus, but not in-game, where I have to use the left analog stick, which makes for rather awkward controls in combat. It also means that the "interact" button prompt is wrong for me, since I can't use the up button and have to use the analog stick. Is this something I can fix?

On a related note, thank you for including an option for the button prompt appearance! I love being able to see PS button prompts despite Windows telling the game I'm using an XBox-style controller. I wish more games did this.

Dpad works fine for me with the Playstation Now ps3 driver, but it always uses the sub weapon when I go through a door or flip a switch.

Bumping this up because this bug is still in 1.02d. I'm calling it a bug since the d-pad works fine in all menus, so it's not my controller or driver; the game can see my inputs just fine, but ignores them outside of menus.
I've been making painful progress through the game using the analog stick, the imprecise direction inputs make the jumping challenges involving directional inputs far more difficult than I suspect they were meant to be. I'd really like to play this game with the controls the devs intended :T

Isn't MotioninJoy and outdated software? Havent they made a new one called InputMapper? Not sure.
Anyway I'm using InputMapper and I've had no issues. Maybe think of a switch? Just a suggestion.

I may, but that doesn't stop this being a rather odd issue that I've encountered in no other games xP Even in writing my own, I've not encountered any problems getting and dealing with input from MotioninJoy, it's completely transparent.
