Stuck in the Mines. Basden is not appearing at the gate
I've followed the map to identify everywhere I haven't been. The only place I haven't been requires some kind of sliding or crawling technique since it's too Metroid-Powerball-low for me to enter.

Additionally, there is this hollow door in the middle of a room with four cavern openings on either side, and most of them are inaccessible. I can't seem to interact with the door and I can't find Basden at all. What am I supposed to do? I can't even find Wendigo...

Basden will not appear at the gate until you defeat the Cave Troll and set him free from the cage. Just keeping heading leftward as far as you can.

That's the thing... I already did D: I've explored everything except for that narrow tunnel that is too short for me to pass through...

Maybe there was another part of the cave that you already visited in which you could not progress. I am pretty sure he will wait for you there. You cannot see it on the map. Just look everywhere again. (It is not in the area with the caverns and the hollow door!)
