This was pretty accurate,so buff of Heavy(+2 HP or/and make Overheating not so fast?) and nerf of Engie(make Wrench deal 1 damage?) will be a good thing to do.

I think what the game needs most right now, is a Sniper Class. I know Paul said a new class depended heavily on the Kickstarter...

Big Stuff:

1: Abilities would be cool. Each class could have a special power. For example, the Engineer could have the ability to throw it's Monkey Wrench like a Boomerang. Good for long distance since this class is short range. Another ability the Engineer could have is building stuff. She could build Drones, stunners, and other stuff. The Heavy could maybe have a shield, and the Striker could have a rocket jump ability, maybe?

2: Vehicles. I think a Hippo based vehicle would be really cool. The movement rate would be fast, and the Hippo could shoot out a sticky goo that would hurt and stick the player in place. A Hippo would be epic considering it's the mascot of Hyper Hippo.

Small Stuff:

1: Weather. It would be so cool if there was elements of Weather incorporated into maps. Rain would be good for me. Nice graphical effect.

I will post more soon, but in the meantime, what do you guys think of my ideas? :)

I think a hunger games type mode would be cool. Last animal standing wins! You pick up which weapon you want (engineer wrench, striker weapon, heavy weapon) or pick up health packs in the beginning and fight!

A map would be awesome as well to see where people are on the Caldera map.

I really like Riyita's idea of there being elements of weather incorporated into the game. It would definitely give the game a twist!

The Hunger Games type game-mode sounds AMAZING Towelie! It would be even cooler if each player had like 50-100 health so battle's were that much more intense and required a lot of skill. Hyper Hippo should at least take that into consideration for the future, fantastic idea! :D

I think there are a few classes that would seem cool:

Canid classes: Wolves, Dogs, Foxes
Possible abilties: Scent sniffing (Support?), Thrill of the hunt (Move speed towards enemies {Melee?}), As a pack (Increade stats near other canines / same species / allies)

Feline classes: House cats, Cheetahs, Lions
Possible abilities: Climbing up walls, always lands on feet (move speed after fall [larger fall = larger move speed?]) Purrr (Affection reduces move speed of nearby enemies or acts as a taunt in which they cannot attack and moves towards cat?), pounce (readies self for a second to then jump ona enemy for a guranteed hit?)

Dragon class
Possible abilities: Enhanced jumping (Double + glide?) switch from ground to air? (Ground unit uses dragon breath? and air unit swoops down at enemies? [Or the other way around more or less?])

Chameleon class
Possibile ability : Invisibility (When standing near objects maybe [as a weakness to the stealth so its balanced])

Fish class
Possible abilties: Breathing underwater (if water introduced) moves faster on slippery surfaces / more control on slipper surfaces (meaning other slide?)

Turtle class:
Possible abilities - remove shell as shield (reduces tankiness of individual whilst providing cover for team with a attack proof shield?)

It would also be cool to have someone with traps as this would allow more defences which seems to be a issue right now.

Game modes

Egg control: Some animal is produciing eggs (e.g. chickens) at multiple places across the map and the team has to control the zones or bring eggs from zones back to base.

Random species deathmatch (after more introduced) nobody chooses their species, all must deal with what they are given (maybe for balnce species changes every minute rather than on death?)

Hybrid deathmatch? or hybrid species based games? The hybrids get two abiliities or get two not as effective abilities.

Hyper deathmatch (Everyone has speed boosts, this would be really silly and funny in some aspects but only really useful with the engineer and striker classes)

Trading or crafting will also be a nice feature as I have multiple items of a single type and there really isnt a use of that as of yet, so I assume some feature like this will be used.

On CTF the engineer is op getting speed boosts on all sides, it would be cool if there were team based speed boosts so that the team would stand a chance to chase the engineer rather than the engineer using both boosts underground to get away.

Also maybe on CTF, the flag holder shouldnt be able to get speed boosts or use jump pads? This would make mobility nerfed a lot and would stop 5 second captures.

the engineer class is waaaaaay to op. it need nerving. also the heavy is a bit underpowered.

The egg mode sounds hilarious! All of the classes are rad, and make sense within the world. Love how the attributes tie to each species. You've definitely captured the humor and quirkiness of the world with these ideas!
