This game is still using several assets from Mech Mice Tactics, but has no Mice.
Which makes me wonder, are there copyrights involved here?
I wonder this because there's also books and a show that... is the show here? I don't even know...
In any case, Mech Mice Tactics is amazing and I would definitely pay for a re-release with maybe the completion of Chapter Three.
That is really interesting... I would love to find that unity3d file for a trip down memory lane.
And that makes sense. Oktober Animation is the company that owns the Mech Mice IP, and they probably collabed with/contracted Hyper Hippo to make the game. Hyper Hippo, wanting to completely own MMA, likely ditched the assets related to Mech Mice, and kept the gameplay.
IIRC, Oktober Animation was also planning to make an animated cartoon series.... at least, they had a trailer. A very, very cheesy trailer.
Which makes me wonder, what happened to them? If they just ditched Mech Mice, or if they went belly up, or what...
By the way, I think I may have the .unity3d file somewhere on one of these machines! Maybe I can search around for it, though I don't know how easily we could make it run nowadays...
But hey, I have it somewhere more than likely, so if you're interested maybe I can host a download or something.
I guess I'll upload them!

I'm pretty sure the other file is basically the same as the Steam version of WW, but as a single .unity3d file. So I don't see a need to upload.

All you've gotta do is install this (or load it into a folder like I did), run the program (firefox.exe), disable auto-updates in the settings (for obvious reasons), then use it to open your file! This will work for any Unity Web Player or Flash game, along with probably a myriad of other old plugins. All you need is the file the game runs off of (or maybe a link to an old site where it resides), and bam! You can now play that game.
By any chance, would you happen to have anything else related to Mech Mice, or other things like Snail Chat?
Also! If you want a convenient way to play Mech Mice, I think Flashpoint has it. It's a big collection of all kinds of old browser games!
