Some feedback
I have really mixed feelings about this game. On the one hand, it has a ton of really cool ideas for puzzles, but on the other, the execution feels very amateur. For example, there's several times where doing something feels like I've completed a puzzle, but the only real reward or unlock is a tutorial NPC telling me something I've already figured out, and then repeating the puzzle solution in the future doesn't seem to do anything. As a result I constantly feel like I'm playing the game 'out of order' but in a way that isn't really satisfying or interesting. I don't really feel like I'm 'on the path', because I keep discovering things that seem to break the flow of the game as intended, in a way that makes the revelations that come afterwards not really have much impact. I can respect what it seems like you're trying to do with this, but it is really unsatisfying and often arbitrary-feeling when you make 'progress'. I say this having played a decent amount of puzzle-adventure and knowledge-gate games; I feel like I'm just kind of busting through the gates without learning much, because the things I'm accomplishing are 'breaking' other puzzles before i have a chance to even really think through them. I want to keep playing to see if there's something really cool and satisfying that I just haven't managed to reach yet, but the problems I'm describing have somewhat killed most of my motivation to do so.

I've managed to figure out how to generate energy for free, rotate rings independently, and do color combination warps, in every case quite awhile before receiving hints as puzzle completion rewards telling me how to do those things.

(couldn't leave a proper review since I'm playing through family sharing.)

thanks for the feedback! Let's see if that continues. It's a bit like flipping a coin, right... you can either discover a solution/mechanic yourself first (pat yourself on the back!) or trigger the in-game hint that nudges a struggling player along. The game tries to account for both, though it's surely not perfect and understandably not working for you, so far.

Still, even though you've flipped 'tails' 3 times in a row, your next flip is always 50/50. Also, as the game gets deeper the hints get fewer, and asks more of the player. My guess is you're right at that cusp, so maybe that's motivation to explore a little farther...

See you on the other side?

That's the problem with being an LC in a non-LC world.
