how to set up a multiplayer lobby

im trying to find information about setting up a multiplayer server and i cant find any. lil help?

Same. No idea. It says some nonsense about port forwarding, but having to do that to play multiplayer on modern games is kind of crazy.

Well you don't have to do any of that to play with your friends. Just host the game normally and invite your friends through steam overlay.

That is for the people that don't want to use steam or play on LAN

This doesn’t work for us. When we host a game, it doesn’t allow us to invite via in game or steam

I had same issue but i found there was 2 buttons. One on the top right which has a button for lan, then the host button on bottom left which is just the normal host button./ it worked for meeee.

I just press shift+tab and then right click on my friend's name, then hit invite to game. Hasn't let me down yet.
