Kings of Hell Demo Bug Fixes!
Howdy there, I am just here to post that I have some bug fixes ready to go after some feedback I received!

I plan on posting these bug fixes after the 14th, once Next Fest starts!...

I repeat, I will be updating the demo with these bug fixes AFTER the 14th!


Here is a list of the current fixes I have done so far, and this list will be updated if there is any more bugs fixed!

  • Fixed an old glitch where if 2 animations played on the same frame, it will cause the character to flicker between the two frames per frame. While rare before, they have been checks implemented to make sure it never occurs again.
  • Projectiles now sync up more Smoothly online, even with 200+ ping!
  • Have it so Enemies/Bosses can Go back to their battle state if they are in their knock down state but STILL have Armour.
  • Adjusted the Dead Zone in the Menu Controller so that Drift would not affect the menu. Increased recognising the menu analog trigger from 0.1f to 0.5f!
  • Added Arrows in the Unlockable Menu to make it obvious that you can scroll left and right to navigate through the Unlockable Boxes.
  • Make it so that if you Join Multiplayer from the Trophy Menu, it turns all the trophies off.
  • Before, if Gula had his guard broken while he was doing his ground pound attack, his Ground Pound Attack Smear would stay on. This has been Fixed!
  • The Inputs in Yamas Move set to Remove his Shirts/Shorts were reversed. That has now been corrected to show the correct inputs!
  • Yama Showing Purple in the Trophies Glitch Fixed. This was due to the fact his Shirtless form was also rendering that did not have a material on; I simply removed the Shirtless, Materialess form from the Model!
  • Magnes was not exported completely correctly which caused some parts of his jacket to appear transparent. That has also been corrected!
  • True Heaven and True Hell did not have QTE Input Goals; essentially what this means it that you could beat those difficulties QTE's just by doing nothing. This has been fixed; True Heaven now uses Heaven QTE Input Goal, while True Hell uses Hells QTE Goals!
  • The Pinball Arena in Episode 03 did not have the Props Visible during the Agares chase... this is because I accidentally had the Y Axis values set in a way so that they would actually spawn under the map. This has been fixed!

The Update is now Live; Version 2.6!

All of the updates listed above are now in game, however there is 2 bugs I would like to warn my players about in the mean time just so they are aware!

  • There is a bug related to when multiple players join an online session; once the Waiting Room has been loaded after the Episode has been selected, they have been instances of players spawning as another character chosen by another player. This is due to how the game decides what player is a certain player number.

    The system works where it will add an artificial delay on players after they have loaded the episode based on their player number (i.e. 5 seconds for player 2, 10 seconds for player 3, etc), but if one of these players has a system that takes longer to load the map then others, it can swap the players places. i.e. if Player 2 loads the map slower then Player 3 (with the artificial wait timer accounted for), then they will swap places.

    While I fix this, in the mean time I would recommend if this issue DOES occur, have the players with the weaker systems pick Player Slot 3/4 based on the Host Invite Order. That should help the issue in the mean time!

  • Another issue I am trying to work out is Ping Related, where if players are playing with over 200 ping, it is possible to grab enemies as the same time as another player due to the delay, which will cause jank such as the enemy playing the wrong grab animation for the player or BOTH grabs playing at once which would send multiple players grab damage to the enemy. I am devising ways to put up protocols in place to mitigate this from happening or outright stopping it!

i think i found a bug. When i use gremiles machine gun special, the gun will only fire like 4 shoots and then cancel itself.

You sure you arnt canceling it with a grab/jump/getting hit/canceling it with any other action?

im using a xbox controller and the only thing im doing is holding the super button and moving. one more thing after the shots are fired gremile jumps by himself

You don't have to hold the super button down after you do it; I suspect that may be your issue!

You maybe right by the way huge fan of your game cant wait for the full release.
