controlls not working

when i load up the game it doesnt allow me to use my keyboard, so i plug in my controller and as soon as i get into a mission or the sand box it is always spinning me around in a circle and i am not able to play.

can anyone help?

so when i go into the settings to change it from "controller" to "keyboard simple" it doesnt have the select button to confirm the setting so it doesnt save

Sorry I meant the type of keyboard :) - Manufacturer, Productname and Wired or wireless - this would be interesting to know for us.

Do you also have a wired keyboard? Could you check whether this issue is the same with it?

no i dont have a wired one which sucks but i loaded up the game went on to sand box and unpluged the usb for my wireless keyboard and it was still spining around

when ever i start the game and go into sandbox the screen just spins around, and none of the controls work, so i sent a few hours changing them by trail and error as the descritions for the movements dont help, i finally got it so i could move all the booms and spin the digger, just had to work out the movement, then there was an update and i am back to square one, very annoying control setup screen

I have the same problem.(using XBOX 360 controller) Except, i can move around i just wont stop spinning. Also, it is the same in the excavator, the bucket just replaces the spinning movement. It was working fine an hour before this happened. I tried restasrting the game and unplugging the controller and the same thing happened.

I have ACTA WHELL , Shift , & pedel pluged in & it will spin me a round . check what contolers are plug in , I am running 8.1 Pro a Coustom build AMD computers , 6 & 8 core only , 10 is out for BATA . I build High end AMD. Intel had to use AMD software on there , 1 trough 3 gemaration chip as theh could not build a Quad chip . I am NOT saying AMD is better !

Back to what I am saying is check whow many you pluged in & there a few odd ball contolers out there that make in spin , I have used any key board & a small X= Box contoler , ome button did not work , Have used a digtal & none Logatech & X3D & worked fine & a MAC Contoler and worked , I have one more odd ball to try . give you the name after tryingas you I test alot of computer item. all I use is AMD , 4 lap tops 5 towers ,i a scoket A pemtim clase 3 at 733 mg .

And by the way INTEL , just released frist true Quad chip . the may have started the age of new computers , but does not give them the right run a Monoply computers , there better chips out there & I AM NOT implying AMD , Look back AApple 7they ran MONARAL chip & did not get broke in , tell the whent to INTEL ,
