Trigger for Faris' dog questline

Anyone figured out how to get the dog questlines, I only ever get it once where you can choose someone to play with the dog then nothing happens

Getting high notoriety and then keep betting on his dog, which has highest odd to win, in the dog race.

Not sure if winning is required, after betting 3 times, he's your buddy and his dog was invited to a higher stake race.

Probably should have clarified better, I meant after that where he gets his new dog.

Winning 3 times gets him the puppy whistle, allowing a follower to get animal handling

I'm not sure if this is the information you're looking for, but I got the Rising Crescent event after completing the Little Moon Wants to Play Outside quest five times, sending followers who had special interactions with the dog:

1) Maggie (gives you one "Sense of Happiness" card);
2) Hassan (gives you "A Song of Two Moons" book, that gives an extra Equipment slot for equipping a pet);
3) Habib (he gets +1 wisdom);
4) Adila (she gets +1 sociability);
5) Lady Becky (she gets +1 charisma).

After that, I got the Rising Crescent event pop up, which gave Little Moon 3 physique, 3 combat and 3 survival.

If you are, you need to complete both Faris and Fadia's questline.

You get the puppy after you complete the stone-tier Sultan's consort quest, started by using a carnality on her when she's present in the court. Give the Sultan a woman follower whom he'll use for a week and he'll let you do whatever you want with his slave consort. Entertain her. She'll reveal she helped move the Sultan's plan to kill Faris's dog. A few turns later you and Faris meet up and he's given a bundle, his new puppy.

ok what if you did fadia's event first and do the faris dog race later?

ok what if you did fadia's event first and do the faris dog race later?

I don't think the order matters. So long as you complete both, you should eventually get a puppy.

She would come to you after you put together all the clues. Just did this today.
