you can even assassinate the sultan with your harem girls in sex party
So she is a yandere?
Amazing...
Would be cool if it was possible to make her also either accept said extra consorts (maybe by making her the Chief Wife, his one true love and the only one whose kids can succeed the throne) or by making her focus her fury on the consorts and not the cheati...errr amorous husband.
By the way, can we steal the jerk Sultan's wife too?
You can make her accept them (or at least forgive you for marrying them).
But with some it goes further. She almost doesn't resent you for taking the widow as wife (her friend) and the domina train her in her art (with you as the subject), making her forgive you immediatly.
Isn't the point of a Harem to have sex with lots of cute girls though?
Would be nice if the devs added the option to befriend and romance each of those girls plus convince them all that we care about them equally so we are not punished by making one of the neglected ones go murderous on us.
Speaking of which...is there an option to improve the relationship with the wife? The game seems to state that there is no passion between her and the MC. It would suck if we were stuck in a loveless marriage that we cannot improve while also unable to sex any other cute girls because the loveless wife is for some weird reason quite jealous.
Only the wife gets jealous, the others don't. And she only kills you at 3 resentments, so there's plenty of time to resolve them.
Resolving a Carnality card with your wife, or resolving Wife's Resentment in some instances, makes her gain passion for you.
Its kinda weird that the wife gets jealous though even when her passion for the player is low.
Isn't it just a marriage of convenience till then? So why get jealous?
Unless she is in denial about her feelings and only gaining passion makes her acknowledge said feelings...aside from the sheer jealous murder rage of course.
Speaking of which...can we sleep with the wife too? Or is the MC blue balled unless he cheats?
I'm pretty sure we can use Carnality cards on Maggie? I mean one of the reason I got the Golden Maggie upgrade is so that I can spend a Gold Carnality card on her.
You can use a Carnality card on her without cheating, just put the card in the thinking box, then put your wife as the recipient of your "affections".
I think the wife's resentment in the beginning could be more about her feeling undermined. Since you have to publicly admit to every affair you have to break the Sultan Cards, she might feel like she's losing her respectability in the eyes of the people as a consequence.
Doesn't the wife know that her husband is kinda forced into cheating on her (and other unsavory things) by the Sultan? Why get angry on the husband and not the Sultan then?
Its still a sadistic choice. Its never our fault. :)
Never ever.
Please understand dear waifu. *blush*
The passionate screams from the Harem? Oh, those were just screams of sheer anguish at being forced to betray you my true love!
In my experience, she actually doesn't get angry if you spend Carnality cards at the brothel. Also there's a follower you can unlock, Arzuna, who starts with a passion and is apparently discrete. If you spend a carnality at home on her you don't develop resentment.
You can also sacrifice your wife to various dark rituals if she's hemming in your fun too much. Or possibly marry her off to Adila (be still my yuri-shipping heart), although that quest line seems to need resentment to reach that ending, and holding resentment for the duration of a *very* long quest line seems risky.
I did end up in a sister-wive situation by marrying Fatuna, but there was definitely a lot of anger (I don't remember if actual mechanical resentment showed up) after that. I think I failed a card shortly after so didn't see the long-term effects.
