Constant Crashes

I've had nothing but problems with this game and this seriously sucks! I love the Lego series games as I've played Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, and the various Star Wars ones... I enjoy the Pirate movies, so having a Lego version game really excites me. But with the constant crashes and when the characters or animals get stuck and it can't activate the next cutscenes, I've had to replay the levels over and over. I can barely get to the end of the first movie levels.

I'm on Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I have a high quality graphics card (Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070), I've got a great power supply and fans that keep my PC cool. My PC is capable of running this game, but unfortunately this game has some kind of a bug that keeps making it crash. It's just very hard to get engaged when I have to replay the level I just did 2-4 times each...

I have the same problem. None of the changes people suggest have stopped the crashes.

I'm having constant crashes as well. files have been verified. im running win 10 pro on ryzen 3900x with 2080 super so definitely more then capable. cant pinpoint crash to any specific action or event. just seems to be one of those LEGO games that has unresolved issues and the devs have no intention of fixing. sometimes i can go hours without a crash and other times it will crash every 10-30 mins.
quickest ive had it crash i barely loaded into the game and was still in port, my partner didnt even have time to join the game before it crashed.

I'm running Windows 10 and can't get beyond the first part due to the game crashing during the beach scene. Since the crash occurs between saves, it sends me back to the very beginning every time.

In my case - this game random crashed (cca 1x crash at 3 hours of playing time) in random levels (but several times at the same moment)
This help me: I REDUCED ingame all graphics settings. From this time game crash only once (at the 4th map at the 3th level).
My PC: Win 10-64bit, Intel 4x3Ghz, 16 GB RAM, GeForce 970.

Mine keeps crashing like crazy, too. Sometimes it's right after I load up the game, and other times it's when I'm in the middle of a level. I've tried all the recommendations, and nothing's helped. I have Win 10 but changed the compatibility to Win 7. That did nothing. The troubleshooter on my laptop suggested running it in Win XP, so I am and that helped a little, but it still crashes frequently. I read in another post that adding (-dxlevel 90 -32bit -heapsize 2048) on the initial options might hep, so I tried changing my settings (without the parentheses), but nothing helps.

All the lego games have bugs and crashes but this one is by far the worst. I averaged 4 or 5 hard crashes every time I tried to play, not even including all the in-game bugs that occurred.

please dude, just get good at the game, i tried it and i stopped crashing instantly its a realy good strtegy
