I don't know if she's gay and honestly don't care or want to know, but:

1. Weren't people applauding MKX for having Kung Jin be a homosexual character?
   
   So, if gay guys are okay, why are lesbian girls not okay?
   
   
2. Lots of heterosexual girls have short hair, in fact, short hair in that particular style for girls has been quite fashionable and in style for girls and young women in Japan, China, and Korea. So, it makes sense to include that in this game in particular.

I see, I get what you're talking about now. Coming from a person who grew up in the Philippines where there are a lot of lesbians and gays, and with many lesbians being butch, or as you say, lesbian stereotypes, and my own cousin being a butch lesbian and some of my former classmates being lesbians as well, I don't see her conforming a stereotype, but okay.

Personally, I like the "White cap, plaid fur-lined coat over white turtleneck, white leggings and shoes" best (costume 24); It reminds me of Burberry and I could really see someone wearing this in Shanghai or NY during fall/winter.

Her "Black vest with red and white stripes over black tank top and black leather pants." (costume 11) is an homage to her idol, Bass, just like she wears Tina's costume, and fits in-line with the pop idols pack ( http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/358140/ss_31d69a9fa2b3863a6b64eea835e9fcf2922c84e3.jpg?t=1427873361 ). Aside from that you have the DLC costumes which all put emphasis on her feminine shape.

I don't know, her costumes look good to me. I especially like that aside from dresses and bikinis she also has normal clothes, something you can really see people wear. I find that that's missing in most fighting games.

i can understand WHY she is in the game - ie so she appeals to a select group of people - but shes just so awful. all her moves suck, her whole character appearance and design is just terrible....

Before anyone jumps on this and says that she is meant to be a 'tomboy' crap - i HAVE girlfriends who act like tomboys and guess what - they looks and dress and act like girls - its just they like a lot of stuff boys like such as football,games,models etc etc

i have females friends on my friendslist on steam who are tomboys but they LOOK like women and are beautiful and want to look female.

I disagree, Mila's design isn't all that bad. I just think they should have removed those freckles.

At least Mila's face is appealing, Hitomi probably has the most unappealing face out of all the female characters.

Honoka is pretty cringe-worthy as well. Her body is so out of proportion that it's damn near a joke lol. Combined with her very cliche personality the character is almost satire of how awkward anime is as of late (but it sells).

Hitomis face is just so plain..like green grass unappealing, shes not ugly or anything though. Ayane is a close runner up because she looks like a short-purple-haired Kasumi.

Mila has some appeal, tight petite body,short hair, and an actual cute face (minus the freckles). Only thing I don't like about her is her fight style. I don't really think she looks that boyish lol.

Now Eliot looks like a girl in almost any costume he has lol

and Sarah has always been a sexy long legged goddess
